1. How far are the Beachfront Suites from
Placencia Village?
We are located around 20-25 minutes,
or 12 miles, north of Placencia, near the top of the peninsula, just
1 1/2 miles south of Riversdale.
2. What are some of
the advantages of being located at the top of the peninsula?
This location is central for land tours and sea activities.
Also, our area is secluded and private. If you are looking for active
nightlife, Placencia Village may be right for you. But if you are looking
for a quiet spot with night life within a short drive, we are the place
to be.
3. Are there grocery stores near the suites?
There is one small grocery store within 10 minutes of our
location.
4. Are there restaurants near the suites?
There are 4 restaurants close to us, from 5 to 10 minutes away.
5. Can I catch a bus or a taxi to get around in the area?
Yes, but it is difficult to get around without a car. A car
is a highly recommended in order to stay at our location.
6. Can I rent a car in Placencia?
There are a few
cars in Placencia to rent. Contact us and we can make a recommendation.
7. Is it safe to drive in Belize?
Yes. There
are not very many cars in Belize per capita. Most of the local residents
take buses, so there are not very many cars. In the larger cities like
Belize City, there is a lot of traffic, but our area is very peaceful.
8. Do the suites sleep more than two?
Suite
#2 has a futon bed that will sleep one or two extra persons.
9. Is there snorkeling off the beach in front of the suites.
There are coral heads off the beach which allow for great snorkeling
along our entire shoreline.
10. Is there daily housekeeping?
In order to keep the rental cost of the units down, we do not
provide daily housekeeping. However, laundry services are available
free of charge and we provide clean sheets and towels on request
11. What type of power (electricity) is available in Belize?
Power is the same as in the United States. 110 Volts, 60 Hertz
12. Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, through PayPal only. Cash
or traveler's checks are also accepted.
